Front Office & Reception Professional
Internship Description
RDC is seeking interns for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist position.
We are looking for experienced, energetic professionals to join our team.
Basic Function:
Provide assistance to the business in all aspects of administration, including general office duties, & assisting in tasks related to sales, marketing, public relations. Act as part of the sales and marketing team and work directly with the owner to provide support to further the position of the RDC. Participate in and contribute to projects and activities related to marketing and revenue generation for the studio.

Work Performed:
· Perform front desk duties such as answering phones, greeting and taking care of guests when they arrive, and being responsible for the daily operations in the practice
· Ensure that all guests are receiving attention from arrival to departure
· Educate guests on exhibits and services and provide knowledge to enable sales of services & art
· Coordinate guests requests with gallery & RDC designer.
· Manage, record, and update internal image galleries
· Work with marketing team to update websites/social sites on an ongoing basis
· Work well and cooperatively with all team members
· Ensure business is clean, neat, and organized at all times
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Experience in a Microsoft office, photoshop and social media platforms.
· Ability to work in a fast paced, growing design center;
· Customer service experience, effective communication, and great customer service skills;
· Passion for guests and creating an experience to remember; and
· Polished/Professional appearance

Exhibit & Creative Event Staff Interns
Internship Description
RDC is seeking interns for a part-time Junior Creative Event Coordinators
We are looking for experienced, energetic professionals to join our team.
Basic Function:
Provide assistance to the RDC during exhibitions, creative events and tours.

Work Performed:
RDC Junior Creative Event Coordinators are responsible for all aspects of registration during RDC Exhibit openings & studio tours, including online registration systems, onsite check-in, member communications (individual and group), creation of name badges and materials, coordinating with volunteer leaders, reports, and training others. Will work on multiple exhibit openings and events simultaneously. Attendance at events on weekdays and weekends is required. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor are required. The ideal candidate must thrive in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm.
This dynamic position will report to the Director of Administration and will work in a team environment to produce events, meetings and additional projects as required.
Requirements:

Manage the registration process for members, sponsors, vendors, employees, and other attendees

Create, update, test and manage all registrations

Provide superior customer service by phone and email for all national events. Respond to all phone and email messages for inquiries, complaints, changes, cancellations, etc.

Serve as the onsite registration lead, training volunteers and providing excellent customer service to attendees

Print and prepare name badges

Attend site visits as necessary

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
